Chill day

I woke up and did nothing but play online poker. I was accompanied by my roommate who has been trying to beat this video game all day as well. I started the day with $197 in my account and after running pretty well I currently have $301. My account reached its peak today at $335, but I ran cold and lost a few buy-ins. Overall, it was a really good day for online poker and my bankroll. I have decided that my poker goal for 2009 is to have a bankroll of $30,000 by December 31. I'm currently still grinding the $6 Heads-Up Sit-and-Go 4 persons until I get to $470 in my account. After I reach that amount I am likely to move up to the $11 level. I have not yet determined what I will need in order to move up from there. I may play a little more tonight but I have to study for a business calc test that is tomorrow.

mehhh poker is lame

Due to laptop shitting the bed for the second time in 6 months I have been reduced to playin short sessions either on my roomates laptop or runnin down to the school computer lab to grind out a few 90/45 mans. The last two sessions have been rough, i just took a shot at (2) 24+2 45 man SnG and (2) 24+2 90 man KO SnG. Nevertheless I started out doing really well but ended up dwindling my stack in one till the final table where i shoved KhQh and got called by 77(missed my 17 outer on the riv). another one came in 16th as i shoved 77(coincidence?) and got called by an early limper slowplayin qq. My stake consisted of a $300 ship and since I ran it up to 400+ playing $3 90 man KO SnG. Then started playing $10 45 man and $10 90 man KOs and ran my acct up to 500+. My staker gave me the 'ok' to take some shots at 24 SnGs. I still played $10 the other day and lost 11 buy ins. Tonight I was 0/4 and was very dissapointted. I'm getting tired of not getting that 1st place, (im sorry this blog is starting to whine a bit) i know i just have to be patient. The top 3 spots in those SnG are where all the profits come from. This week my sharkscope stats were right on the edge of 3k but since i have lost about $210 to bring my stake back to where i started which is kindof depressing.
